Being as it is already mid-July and my daughter goes back to school on August 8th, I can't help but already feel the push of fall approaching. While I am in no way turning my back on this summer (we haven't even taken a vacation yet), I do love to look ahead to see what the next season's trends will be. One of my favorite ways to predict this so early on, is to look to my favorite retailers and see if they have published any look books for the season. From there I pull out what I love, make notes on the trends I see and then when it comes time: shop accordingly! A quick search recently lead me to the Madewell Fall 2012 preview, and boy am I loving what I see!!
Above I picked out my top four casual looks from the Madewell collection. Loving the modern tomboy vibe, bright bold palette and my favorite has to be the preppy collegiate jacket!
Next I picked out my top four dressier looks, featuring crisp pencil skirts and patterned dressed in hues of blues and greens. I can't help but be head over heels for these looks since they feature my favorite colors! I love how they throw an oversize anorak, sweater or jean jacket over the feminine dresses to give them a more laid back vibe.
I'm not sure I need to look much further for my fall fashion inspiration than Madewell's amazing line-although who am I kidding, I know I still will-the inspiration is never ending sometimes! Fall always brings my about my favorite looks!
