Interior Infatuation: Relaxed Rooms

This room was in the latest Ballard Designs catalog. I automatically fell in love with all the textures and beachy colors.  And the curtains!  Their style tip in the corner is basically the advice I am trying to take in my own home:

"The key to this relaxed room is it's unplanned nature. Nothing matches but everything belongs."

It is so hard for me to break away from matchy-matchy.  Right now I am paralyzed with indecision as to what coffee table to buy for my family room.  I have two big, dark wood pieces already in the room and I don't want to match it-but man is it hard coming up with the perfect mismatched piece! I love the coffee table in the room above, and have found a great option at a cheaper price on overstock.  It is what I am leaning towards at the moment.

And while we are on the topic of catalog rooms, I loved this one in the recent one from West Elm:

Such a great beachy/Cali vibe without going overboard.

What types of interiors are you loving lately?
