Secret Santa Christmas Shopping at Marshalls/T.J.Maxx

I was recently asked to participate in a fun project from the T.J.Maxx/Marshalls stores, in which I would be a "Secret Santa" for a blogger they matched me up with.  I was to go pick out some gifts for the blogger with a $50 gift card.  Of course I was like "Heck yeah I will do it! I love me some Marshalls and T.J.Maxx!".  I'm seriously there at least a few times a month.  If you are not familiar with the stores, they both stock brand name items at far less than you would pay retail.  They have all the departments covered: Men, Women, Kids, Baby, Shoes, Jewelry, Purses, Beauty, and Home Goods.  One of my favorite T.J. Maxx scores was a Michael Kors leather purse I got for $150 instead of around $400.  Trust me, you will love these stores.

So I went down on a Sunday morning with gift card in hand, and really had the hardest time picking stuff out because there were so many great items for under $50.  Scarves, purses, jewelry, candles, stationary, lotions, books...the list goes on and on.  I finally settled on some pretty cute stuff, if I do say so myself. Take a looksie:

Yes, I seriously got all of this for under $50.  I went for a gold theme as soon as I laid eyes on the votive holders.  Here's the run-down: A Calvin Klein knit set including a hat, gloves and scarf, two decorative candles, a set of three mini votive holders, and a gold journal.

I really loved these votive holders-aren't they so pretty?  They were only $5! Of course now I am giving away all my secrets, but I can't help it-I was so stoked by all I was able to get.

In return, I got a present from a Secret Santa as well:

A gorgeous statement necklace and matching ring.  Perfect for the holiday season!

So if you still have some Christmas shopping left to do, stop by T.J.Maxx or Marshalls and you will definitely find something great that won't break the bank.

  6. What a great idea!! Because I'm from Canada, I don't get the luxury of shopping at TJ Maxx/Marshalls, so I'm pretty jealous of the fact that you get to go all time...and you got a $50 gcard to spend on a fellow blogger!
