Interior Infatuation: Sara Tuttle Interiors

I was beside myself in giddiness last night when I happened upon the Washington DC apartment of interior designer Sara Tuttle.  Ever since this little snippet of her work was in Domino years ago, I occasionally looked for more of her work online to no avail:

Then this little image of her apartment popped up awhile back on Style Court, leaving me practically salivating for a further look:

Now, my friends, we get the whole look!  Courtesy of ivillage. Here we go...

I kind of died and went to heaven right now.  Her use of color and her knack for accessorizing are amazing.  And can you believe this is only an 755 square foot apartment?  She utilized her space so well. Plus she loves vintage so you always have me with that!  As a matter of fact, I just bought a gold mirror similar to the one in the fourth pic of her home tour at the thrift store today to use in my office. I can't wait to get started on that and  I will definitely be using her home for inspiration.

Sara also has a website up and running now.  You can check out her portfolio here.

So what do you think? Are you loving it as much as I am?

  1. her apartment is beautiful! I love her use of color and I wish I knew how to mix it like her! I like the wall in the kitchen the most that has what I think are the blue opaline glass plates and the butterfly art mixed.

  2. It's very pretty, but to be honest, I couldn't live there. I'd probably have to remove half of the furniture and accessories. I guess I'm more of a clean lines, clean spaces kind of girl.

  3. Love this apartment! The navy walls in the kitchen with the brown and white patterned floors looks great. I also like the fact that you can tell she mixes high-end pieces with more low-end, found objects. This is a combination that's hard to perfect, thanks for sharing.

  4. I kinda die over the kitchen blue. And the big green moss ball. Love big moss balls.

  5. So very much in love like you... so many great things happening, I will have to come back for seconds and thirds on this one just to take it all it!

  6. Navy blue walls? Sold. I would love to incorporate some of her ideas into our apartment.
