Holiday Gift Guide 2015: Men

I kicked off holiday gift guide week with my one of my favorites: items for the home and today I am continuing with one of the more complicated (for me) subjects: men! Haha! I guess it can be easy if you have a guy who is into "stuff", but my husband is not! Luckily my brother is, so I do have fun shopping for him. Generally I look for things for my guys that are either something they have been needing (for my husband, it is wireless ear buds for running), clothing (because he hates shopping for himself), or things that just shout "I'm a man!" (like a survival toolkit). A few of the items I have picked for this gift guide are things my husband owns and loves, and I will let you know about them down below!

1.  'Ascot' Leather Slipper • UGG • $119.95
A really nice, high quality pair of slippers will really elevate your guys' everyday lounging situation.

2. PT Performance Short • Soffe • $16.99
Does your guy talk about "PT" (physical training) as much as mine? It may be an army/cop thing because my husband takes his PT seriously! That along with all the gear it entails; he is super picky about his workout clothes. He recently told me of this brand, Soffe, that makes military issue style PT clothing. These shorts are high on his list. Bonus: everything is super affordable!

3. Water Resistant UA Storm Hoodie • Under Armour • $59.99
I bought my husband a similar version last year (the year before? The years are starting to blur together) and he wears it all the time. It is one of his favorite items.

4. Chuck Taylor ® All Star ® 'Chuck II' High Top Sneaker  • Converse • $74.95
Another of my husband's favorite items are the new Chuck II's. He has always loved his Chucks, and when they came out with a new and improved version for the first time in their nearly 100 year history, he had to have them! The silhouette is relatively the same, but there is more cushioning and arch support inside thanks to Nike's Lunarlon technology. They come in various colors, but I like the classic black best, and love the new matte tone on tone eyelets!

5. Herschel Supply Co. Novel Weekender Duffel Bag • Herschel • $59
For the traveler/gym goer, a trendy Herschel weekender is a nice pick. Or try a backpack for your guy on the go.

6. 'No Days Off' Graphic T-Shirt • Nordstrom • $21.60
Before our summer vacation this year, we went to Walnut Creek to go shopping and stopped in Nordstrom. My husband is a tshirt guy through and through, and he fell in love with this brand. They are soft and well constructed. He bought this exact shirt and wears it all the time. I'm afraid Target tees just aren't going to cut it for him anymore.

7. Sol Republic Shadow Bluetooth Headphones - Grey • $99.99
These lightweight and fully flexible earbuds are great for workouts.

8. Tool Logic Survival Card with Fire Starter, Light and Knife • Target • $14.99
This would be a cool little stocking stuffer. A wallet size card that has a fire starter, light, tweezers, toothpick and small knife inside.

9. The Art of Manliness Collection (Paperback) • $23.99
This giftable cigar box contains two Art of Manliness books and six coasters.

10. Ted Baker Wooden Effect Pen • Asos • $33
Why should girls have all the fun with office supplies? This wood-effect ball point pen from Ted Baker comes in a very nice box perfect for gift giving.

11. Wood'd Wooden iPad Case • $58
Crafted in Italy with a hand sanded wood finish. Beautiful!

12. Bickley + Mitchell X UO Sherpa Beanie • $32
This looks so warm and cozy, I think I want one too! I'm always on the hunt for warm hats for my husband, who shaves his head. It makes me cold just looking at him in the winter!

13. Hamilton Lace-Up Boot • Sebago • $105–199
LOVE these boots; your guy can dress them up or down. Sure to get lots of compliments!

14. Skull Planter • $19.99
Filed under one of the more quirky requests from my husband: a skull planter for his desk! Plop a succulent in top and you are good to go!

15. Men's Society Handsome Hands Manicure Kit • $33
This kit is like a manicure set packaged up to appeal to a guy. Included are nail clippers, two nail files and a woodsy, citrus scented 100% natural hand cream. Another fun stocking stuffer idea!

16. G-Shock GA-110 Military Black • G-Shock • $130
If your guy needs a heavy duty watch that can withstand anything, a G-Shock is the way to go. I love the rugged design of these as well.

17. Buffalo checkered PJ pants • Gap • $29.95
I always buy new pajamas for the family each Christmas. For the guys it's a nice new pair of flannel pj pants!

18. The North Face ETip Glove • The North Face • $45
Touch screen compatible, although I think almost all gloves are these days! A great everyday glove without too much bulk.

19. Jack Black Travel Essentials Set • Jack Black • $24
A nice travel set of men's toiletries always ends up on my lists. Such a classic and useful gift.
