What To Pack: Spring Wine Country Weekend

It's time to pack for a spring trip to wine country! I am very excited to be heading to Sonoma County this weekend for a fun day of Barrel Tasting. It is my favorite tradition of the year, to meet up with my brother and his girlfriend and whatever other friends we can round up and hit up all our fave wineries. One of my most popular posts is my last "What to Pack : Wine Country Weekend", so in the spirit of my upcoming trip, I thought I would do an updated packing list.

Spring time in Sonoma county is absolutely gorgeous, with cooler mornings and evenings, and temps reaching the upper 70's to low 80's in the afternoon. Layers are definitely key to staying comfortable all weekend. For barrel tasting, a spring dress layered with a scarf and denim jacket is a great option. Flats or a comfortable heel such as a wedge or block heel will keep your feet happy through hours of walking and standing in tasting rooms. Lastly, have fun with accessories! A fun polish color, a statement ring, a new pair of sunnies and a cute straw hat and you will be the picture perfect wine taster. Since I stay with my parents while we are in town, I always take a casual outfit or two for hanging with the fam, and road trips back home.
