Recent Purchases

I love seeing what people are buying and/or "hauls" and all that good stuff, so I thought I would share a few recent purchases with you today. I've been pleased with each and every one of these items, so I am a happy little shopper!

A lot of these items are from my Fall Closet, but I am sharing them again so you can see which pieces I have taken from my virtual closet and added to my real closet ;)

Lucky Brand Thermal

Thermals are just the best for layering, and I thought the fun chevron sleeve would be great under vests this fall. This is currently on sale for more than 50% off.

Piperlime Collection Leopard Sweater

This recently went on sale for 50% off, so I snatched one right up. It is scheduled to be delivered today.

Asos Plaid Blanket Scarf

I loooove this scarf, and I have taken to wearing it loose and long, as seen in this post. It's my new favorite lazy way of wearing scarves, and kind of rebelling against the "10001 ways to tie your scarf!" society that we are living in.

Target Mid Rise Denim Leggings in Gray and Medium Blue

Currently Mossimo jeans are 40% off at Target, and you can stack a Cartwheel deal for an extra 20% off! I got the Medium Blue in store yesterday for only $13. I had to order the gray pair online, and unfortunately the cartwheel deal is not valid online. They were still a great deal at only $16.

Jcrew NewBalance Sneakers

These were on sale for only $35 (reg $80), and since I had my eye on a pair of New Balance for quit some time I decided it was too good a deal to pass up. I must admit, I was a bit nervous about how these would actually work due to the bold color combo, but I love them! They are so fun and add the perfect jolt of energy to my rather dark (aka gray and black) wardrobe. See them in action on instagram here and here.

I was in the market for new eyeshadows and lipsticks, so I took to the drugstore and picked up these:

Maybelline Expert Wear Eyeshadow Quad in "Autumn Coppers"

Basically if it had "autumn" in the name I was all about it. These are pretty rose gold shades that are super flattering.

Milani Shadow Singles in "Bella Espresso" and "Bella Cappuccino"

These are my new favorite shadows. I will definitely be picking up more colors. They have great coverage, are long lasting, and the packaging is very nice. Highly recommend.

Maybelline Color Sensational Mattes in "Touch of Spice"

I looooove this color, and have seen it around pinterest as a dupe to M.A.C.'s "Twig". I'm all about a drugstore dupe!

Wet n Wild Mattes in "Bordeux Boulevard"

Another great color that i decided to try thanks to Pinterest. I don't usually buy Wet n Wild, but for $1.99 I thought why not? It's a gorgeous color, (you can see it in action here on instagram) although it does dry out your lips pretty quickly. I end up putting lip balm over it after awhile.

Sally Hansen Insta Dri Polish in "Expresso", "In Prompt Blue" and "Slick Slate"

This is my favorite polish- one coat coverage and fast drying. Yes please! I pick up a few new colors each season. They are great for giving the girls manis too because as you know kids don't have much patience waiting for their nails to dry!

Bath & Body Works:

I took full advantage of the recent candle sale and bought three new scents to get me through the holiday season. "Marshmallow Fireside", "Mint Mocha Chip" and "Warm Vanilla Sugar".  I also bought a holiday pack of pocketbacs and three fun covers, the studded black for me (how ironic is that? A bad ass looking hand sanitizer holder!) and two for the girls (dog, penguin) because we like to attach them to their backpacks for school. Although let's be honest, I am jealous of theirs, they are so cute!

So there you have a group of some of my most recent purchases. Most were on major sale, so I have had no problem in treating myself. What have you been bringing home lately? Let me know in the comments!
