The November Closet: Outfits 1-3 {Casual}

To recap, my monthly closet series will feature 14 items, remixed into over a weeks' worth of outfits.  My goal with this year long series is to help you build a versatile, stylish closet full of items that you love to wear.  Each item is carefully picked to be both affordable, and relevant no matter what your age or occupation. The series runs every Monday, so be sure to check in for new outfits every week!

For our first set of outfits, I focused on creating casual looks centered around the great pair of distressed denim. Each of these options would be great for travel days, weekend errands, marathon shopping days, etc.

Oufit One: For that simple, Parisian look we all love, pair your jeans with a stripe tee and chic black flats. An infinity scarf adds warmth on chilly days. In the winter a black peacoat is the perfect topper!

Outfit Two:  This is my favorite of the three and so me right now (you'll see a "My Style" post this week that was the inspiration for this look!) A plaid shirt is such a mainstay in my weekly wardrobe, as are moto style boots. Layer a monochromatic necklace over your flannel for interest without being overpowering.

Outfit Three: This layered all denim and black look gets a little spice from the leopard shoes, great bag and sparkly earrings!

Items Used in these outfits: JCrew Vintage Straight Jean in Abbot Wash / JCrew Factory Boatneck Tee in Mixed Stripe / Nordstrom Echo Snood / Old Navy Pointed Toe Open Side Flat / Madewell Penfield Buffalo Plaid Shirt / Lucky Brand Gold-Tone Chain & Pendant Necklace / Zara Leather Ankle Boot with Zip / Delia's Denim Shirt / Old Navy Faux Leather Trim Zip Cardigan / Juicy Couture Topanga Leather Shoulder Bag / Kate Spade Black Small Square Studs Toms Cheetah Suede Desert Wedges

Which look is your favorite?
