Introducing: The March Closet!

Welcome to the March Closet! They say that March "comes in like a lion and out like a lamb", so I kept that in mind while choosing the pieces to feature here today.  I've got long sleeves and short sleeves, pants, skirts, dresses, close-toe shoes, sandals and jackets! I think that about covers most temps (minus the snow)! We have already enjoyed some sunny and warm weather here in California, and I am hoping for the rest of you still dealing with the cold that you will get some sun soon too!  You deserve it!

To recap, my monthly closet series will feature 14 items, remixed into over a weeks' worth of outfits.  My goal with this year long series is to help you build a versatile, stylish closet full of items that you love to wear.    Each item is carefully picked to be both affordable, and relevant no matter what your age or occupation. The series runs every Monday, so be sure to check in for new outfits every week!  If you missed January, you can check out the entire monthly closet here.  For February, check out the entire month here.

Now on to the March Closet...

A no-brainer spring and summer outer layer.  I just bought a fun distressed one from Gap I can't wait to style.

Floral prints are big, and I love the bold color palette and painterly print of this one from Target. I've been eyeing it every time I am in store and think I need to finally snatch one up.

This beauty by Equipment, the authority in silk button-up tops, is sleek and modern. In the color of the year, you can't go wrong.

A bold print in black and white is one definite must-have for your spring closet.

A great casual top with enough interest to make you look again.  The laser cut gives it great texture.

A classic figure flattering cut in fun bubblegum pink. A great day to night piece.

An easy breezy piece to throw on and go!

I thought I was over white pants, but I was wrong.  I am crushing on them in a major way this season!

An eye-catching item to instantly add polish to any outfit.

This pastel beauty can work as a neutral, and will definitely get lots of use!

I love this almost pixelated looking print. A great way to add a subtle addition of pattern to your look.

A pair of casual flat sandals in white is high on my to-buy list.  Clean, simple and so flattering with a tan!

The subtle shimmer of this gold belt will help take a casual look up a notch.

The flat of the season, find a pair you love and wear them with everything!

And there you have our capsule wardrobe for March!  Please feel free to leave any questions or comments, I would love to hear your thoughts.  Don't forget to check in every Monday for the outfits I have put together from the closet!
