Today I am continuing with my 50 Under $50 Spring style series with my dear friend Maggie in mind. She recently commented on a post that pastels aren't really her thing, and I know I have been going color crazy around here since the sun has started shining in Cali. I turned my back on all my neutral favorites and hadn't really looked back! So today, I am toning down the selections and have picked some great items in sophisticated blacks, whites and olive greens. These all will fit seamlessly into a classic neutral wardrobe, but what is great is that they will play well with your pastels and neons as well! I loved that Maggie brought me back down to earth a little with her comment-so don't be afraid to speak up and let me know what you like to see! I won't be mad atcha, and you know I love a good challenge.
8. Olive Parka
A great lightweight jacket perfect for everyday use. Throw it on in the mornings when it is chilly and discard it later when it is warm! I dig that this has a kind of half tailored, half slouchy feel.
I love this modern black and white necklace. I would pair this with a simple tee and denim or a sleek black maxi dress!
A big trend in purses this spring in the saddlebag style. This cute little number comes in a variety of color options.
A simple statement with sweet rhinestone detailing, this beauty could stand alone or would also pair well with others.
Cardigans don't need to be left behind with fall and winter. This layering piece can take you into the warmer months thanks to short sleeves and a lighter knit!
So darn cute, I'd wear this baseball hat even if I weren't having a bad hair day!
Sleek, modern and sophisticated, these sandals will take any outfit to the next level. I tried these on in store with no intention of buying, but fell in love with the comfort, quality and overall look of these. Needless to say they came home with me!
