The January Closet- Remixes 4-6

The The January Closet consists of 14 items that are remixed into over a week's worth of outfits.  I know that you, like me, have limited budgets and busy lives, and that we need to make the most out of what we have.  I hope that you will find through these posts inspiration to both build your wardrobe, and help make those items in your closet go the extra mile.

To check out the full closet of pieces, and for more details, please refer back to the master list here.
Outfits 1-3 located here.

For this group of remixes, I focused on styling items around the boyfriend denim.  While generally I pair this type of denim with flats, booties or heels, I have also on occasion pulled a high boot over them in the winter months. Wear high socks, cover the bottom of the denim and then pull your boots right up over them.  This works as long as the top of the denim are not too loose and slouchy. For more ideas on how to style boyfriend denim, you can check out my post here!

Come back next Monday when I wrap up the January Closet with 4 more outfits, and will be hosting a giveaway for one of the items featured!

  5. I'm going to have to try your trick to get these jeans into boots! I always end up with bunched fabric around my ankles and I bet this will fix it!

    1. Yes, the bunched up thing can be annoying. You can also try cuffing them (like they did in the 80's real tight) and then pulling the socks over that too.
