Dress, Drink, Dine: Emerald Resolutions!

Welcome to the first Dress, Drink, Dine of the new year!  This is one of my favorite series, so I plan on continuing it well into 2013. I mean, really, it doesn't get much better than fashion and food, does it?!  Since we are all in the mindset of fresh starts and resolutions, this month I will be featuring menu items that are on the healthier end of the spectrum (although not necessarily "diet" food, because that is just no fun) and non-alcoholic drinks that feature more fresh, natural ingredients.





Dress:
Continuing with the Pantone Color of the Year, I chose a beautiful emerald dress to pull this look together.  Ruffles are also set to be big this year, so this dress features two trends in one!  For balance I like to pair feminine silhouettes such as this with more modern or masculine pieces.  The necklace, ring, and booties help toughen it up a bit!

Drink:
This refreshing drink uses pom juice & sparkling water. For a healthier alternative, substitute the sugar for a dash of coconut water!

Dine:
I love a good salad, and for me, the more little goodies in them the better!  This salad had loads of veggies and a nice vinaigrette dressing.
