Last Saturday I stole away to the Livermore valley with two of my best girls. One had come to visit all the way from Nicaragua, where she moved a few years ago to start a new and exciting life with her family. So of course her visit warranted a girls' getaway!
We basically did what we do best-eat, shop, eat, drink, swim, eat and drink. Not necessarily in that order, but it is quite possible.
And, um, yes-these photos were taken at a winery. Wente to be exact. You are going to have to quit catching me on these kind of outings, it's starting to get embarrassing.
I didn't realize at the time, but as I am editing these photos I notice I was a bit patriotic that day. Rocking the good ol' red white and blue! What I was really going for was something that would be casual and comfy enough to wear all day, while still feeling a bit dressy. Sometimes it's only a matter of adding a pair of fun shoes to the outfit!
