Spring Fashion Trend: Yellow + Nude

Ack!  Sorry guys, I've been behind on blogging this week.  I've been super busy with "real life" stuff, and the blog unfortunately gets the back seat when that happens.  But I'm popping in to share with you one of my favorite color palettes for spring: yellow paired with nude.

Here are a few picks to add to your wardrobe-each is under $100!

Striped Sweater-This is great if you don't want to do a full-on yellow top.  Breaking it up with a nude stripe tones it down a bit.  I recently picked up a very similar version from Gap.

Feather Earrings- These are by Kendra Scott, one of my absolute favorite jewelry designers.

Quilted Purse- So ladylike, but with an edge thanks to the pop of neon yellow.

Cap Toe Flats- Right on trend!

Watch- I love colorful watches, they add a big statement without being over the top.

Tie Front Blouse- These would look great paired with khaki pants or skirt!

Tote-  I am dying over this.  A great weekend tote for sure!

Hair bow- Call me crazy, but I am having a moment with big bows.  So playful and cute.

Zipper Pouch Set- I just love this pattern from Fossil.  They have used it throughout their spring line.  I recommended a purse in the same print for Holly here.

Nail polish- I will definitely be getting a manicure with this soon!

What are your favorite color pairings for spring?

  1. I LOVE this trend! Very cheery!

  2. Yup, loving the yellow. I have that striped sweater from Old Navy, and it's one of my faves this spring (but then, I apparently cannot get enough Old Navy in my life these days). Just wore it the other day with my pink skinnies from - guess where? Old Navy. I WISH I would've had their version of those cap toe flats to wear wif. Ah well - just means another trip back!

  3. I love yellow!! It's such a fun, spring color thanks for sharing all these cute items!
