On The Hunt For Kassie: New Work Shoes!

I had so much fun working on my first challenge for the new "On The Hunt" series!  Seriously, it makes it 10x more interesting when I have a mission for someone else-I just love helping people out!

Who: Reader Kassie
What: A pair of brown flats for under $50
Where: Her office where casual attire in the name of the game
Why: To match her arsenal of neutral colored khakis, slacks and cords

Kassie mentioned she liked the smoking flats look from this post, and that perhaps even a leopard print may work.  I say, if you are looking for some pizazz, then go for it!  However, a plain brown would definitely go with much more, and not stand out so much if you will be wearing them often.

My absolute favorite pair of the bunch is the top loafer by Dolce Vita.  It has a slight stacked heel to give it a bit of formality, but the tassels keep it fun and on trend.  The icing on the cake is right now they are on sale for $44.50-originally $89!!

For a safer bet: Bass Hollis Loafer $48.99

Here we have a few more options.  I love the detailing of the top shoe.  The hint of shine makes it work from day to night.  The middle moccasin style option has a great chain detailing that I love.  And the bottom pair has a great embellishment at the toe to keep them from being too ho-hum.

This last grouping all have rounded toes and a bit of a suede look to them.  If you like a feminine ruffle, the top and bottom are the ones for you.  In the middle is a basic brown flat that will blend with any style of clothing.

And there you have my round-up of office-friendly brown flats! Kassie, I hope you find something you like here! Let me know which pair you end up choosing!

If you would like to be featured in my next "On The Hunt" personal shopping post, it's as simple as sending me an email!  And yes-it's totally free!  For full details, please visit this post.  I look forward to hearing from you!

  1. These are all great! I really love the loafers, moccasins and the leopard ones! I'm leaning towards the moccasins at the moment...hmm, decisions!
    Thanks so much!
