I've begun to see a crop of colored fur popping up in fashion scene lately, and I'm not quite sure how I feel about it. On one hand I think it's kind of quirky and fun, and on the other all I can think about is The Muppets. What initially turned me onto the idea was this lovely photo from Zara:
I thought, hmmm, now that's interesting. Here's the thing: it helps that it's in one of my absolute favorite colors, and that it is on a stick thin model. But can you imagine this walking down the street? On an everyday Jane?

Definitely like the colored fur look. Maybe not hot pink, but I love the first blue color.
I think in small doses, like the collar on that pink coat, it's fab. In larger, it just looks like a Muppet.
