Sweet Inspiration: ModCloth Look Book

I always love to click through the online look books presented by my favorite brands and shops.  It is such a great way to gain inspiration and to really see how pieces can work together.  Last night I ran across one from ModCloth, that I fell absolutely in love with.

I am so, so obsessed with this "Blooms of Barcelona" dress.  Had I just seen it as a product shot against a white background, I'm not sure it would have caught my attention.  But seen here in all it's dark, ethereal glory how can you resist?  I think this is the perfect dress for the holidays-would work equally well at Thanksgiving dinner or a Christmas party.

The shoes are what really caught my eye in this photo.  I'm loving a wedge bootie for fall, and throwing on some tassels is always a plus in my book.  Other items from this look: sweater, collared shirtdress, tightsbracelet.

Isn't this girl a beauty? I love the way they styled her hair and makeup for this shoot.  Makes me want to braid my hair and throw on some berry lipstick.

This little grouping of shoes on an owl doormat makes me smile.  Left to right: "Zip Wire Boot", "Wilderness Explorer Bootie"  , "Cayenne Strawberry Rain Galoshes".

At the grocery store today I pondered buying a bag full of cinnamon scented pine cones.  Seeing this little basket full makes me wish I had.   The jewelry featured in this shot were created by several different style bloggers-how fun is that?  You will more than likely recognize them by name!  Jewelry left to right: " A Beautiful Mess Necklace" "Orchid Grey Bracelet" (click-through for the close-up-those are lion heads with green rhinestone eyes!!), "Susan's Necklace" (the owl-created by ModCloth co-founder) and  "Bluebird Necklace".  I love how all have a real vintage, unique feel to them.

I hope you enjoyed this little break-down of the latest ModCloth look book.  Next time you are on your favorite fashion shopping site, check to see if they have one.  They are chalk full of great inspiration!
