Interior Infatuation: Trading Spaces

I am just adore everything about this beautiful abode that is featured in House + Home.  The furnishings, the layout, the color schemes, the decor-all perfect.  It has a great mix of beachy, vintage and farmhouse style that is oh-so appealing to me.  You can read all about the transformation of the home here.

And just for fun, here are photos of the homeowners' previous apartment.  It's fun to look for some of the same decor items, and the way they transition the pieces to fit in with their new space and changing aesthetic.

So what do you think?  Do you prefer one over the other?  The apartment definitely has a more playful, colorful vibe, and in their new home the decor has seemed to mature a bit, which is fitting I suppose!  It's a toss-up for me, although the kitchen in the apartment is a long-time favorite, and the built-in that is in the apartment as well absolutely does it for me!  In fact, I want to recreate the whole look, starting with the peacocks-I already have them and now want to spray them white!

Stay tuned tomorrow for the big reveal of my dining table!
