DIY: Pyramid Jewelry Display

I say this is a DIY, but really that is a bit of a stretch.  For several months now I had been seeing these lovely glass pyramids popping up here and there-specifically this one, that I immediately put on my wish list.  While out on a thrifting trip one day I had the great fortune of finding a lovely little glass pyramid for only $1.99.  One of the sides had a spot to open it up so you could put something inside.  My wheels starting turning, and originally I was searching for an air plant to put inside, but when my search for one turned out unsuccessful I decided to go a different route.  I am so in love with how this turned out, regardless of how simple it was.  Check it out:

Are you ready for the directions?  You may want to grab a pen to jot this one down:

1. Find a glass pyramid
2. Add decorative sand
3. Place your favorite jewelry inside

Easy, yet unique and fun.  Just the way I like it!

The pyramids from The Wild Unknown run from $65-80.  My version cost only $4 - $2 for the pyramid and $2 for the sand.
