I am very honored to be a part of a wonderful ebook put together by the kelly + olive ladies titled "Ideas You Should Steal: 17 fun home projects to inspire, knock-off or just plain copy".  The name pretty much says it all!  Here is a brief description:

"kelly+olive's first e-book Ideas You Should Steal contains 17 fun projects submitted by top home, craft, and lifestyle bloggers from all over the web. learn how to make an end table out of a suitcase, how to stencil your walls using a toilet paper roll, or even make your own rug! we know there is a project in here that will inspire you!"

The bloggers featured in the ebook are:

Centsational Girl
Isabella & Max Rooms

The best part is the ebook only costs $1, and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Dwell with Dignity.

"Dwell with Dignity was founded to help hard-working individuals and families in need to just that – dwell with dignity. Using re-purposed and recycled items, they create beautiful and creative homes for families in transitional housing, giving deserving families a fresh start and a new outlook on life. Hopefully, such inspiration will help them break the punishing cycle of poverty and homelessness and give them a new outlook on life."

I love the Dwell with Dignity notion that by changing a person's surroundings, they can in turn change their outlook on life.  To get a taste of all that they do, check out these amazing before and afters:

Every last piece of furniture, decor, kitchen supplies and even food in the pantry are provided, along with interior designers donating their time to create and install the look of each home.  My heart is very much behind this cause, and I am proud to be a contributor to this ebook.  Many of you know that I was a Social Sciences major in college. My senior thesis was on homelessness and its affects on school-aged childrens' academic performance, so I spent a lot of time studying the myriad ways not having a safe, warm and welcoming place to call home can really devastate a family.

I would be thrilled if you made a donation for the ebook.  All that is being asked is a $1 to receive the download of the book, however any extra amount you can donate would be greatly appreciated.  After you click "add to cart"  a window pops up with the $1.00 amount already filled in, but you can change that to reflect any amount you would like to donate.  Simply click here to do so. Thank you all so much for your support to this great cause.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Jackie
