So far we have seen some pretty lovely vanities, and from the response they are getting I know it is striking a chord! Among many of the inspirations, common themes run through as to what makes up a great vanity space. Here is a little "formula" that you can use as a cheat sheet when creating or re-creating your own space:
Now, let's take this formula and style it up in three different ways: glam, modern, and boho.

Now, of course, if you do not have enough room for an entire area to be devoted to a vanity, you can always find a little space to carve out for your pretties. Be it a section of your closet, on top of your bathroom counter, on top of a dresser in your bedroom, or even a shelf on your bookcase. The point is, it's nice to have somewhere to display as a group those items that add a feminine flair to your day. It will be sure to bring a smile to your face every time you walk by!

I am loving this "vanity" series! It's fun to see how others decorate the spaces they get decorated in front of...(?). Thought I would join in the fun by posting a link to my vanity: http://hilaryinspired.wordpress.com/2010/09/01/jewelry-do-over/

Love this!! I kinda want to boho-ify my entire house but I can't seem to get it together. That blue chair slays me.
