Blog Crawl: My Life Is An Open Book

I'm happy to be participating in Beth of Hello, Splendor's Blog Crawl today. For the past several weeks, bloggers have been posting their "stories" and linking up to the next person in the crawl as a way to spread some blog love and perhaps make some new blog buddies along the way.  Yesterday Ana from Live & Enliven passed the torch along to me.  So here we go...

That would be me, Jackie. Hi there!
I'm A: Domestic Engineer (aka stay-at-home mom,) Bitchin' Blogger, Vintage Goodies Finder, Style Seeker
I Love:  Sarcastic humor; eating yummy food, but not cooking it; painting my nails greige; avoiding cleaning the bathroom; giggling with my girls; thrifting; Barefoot Cab; butternut squash anything; decorating my house; high heels; the wine country; Half Moon Bay, Carmel, Sausalito & Big Sur; online shopping as a stress reliever; singing along to ghetto rap songs; Modern Family, Community, Cougar Town and Parks & Rec; naming inanimate objects; dreaming of living in a modern country cottage; reading in bed; cozying on the couch with my hubby; fall; drinks with friends...

California Love!  It's true what they say, nothing comes close to the golden coast.  We will welcome you to the Hotel California, and you will leave wishing they could all be California girls.  Know what I mean?

My husband is a very hard working man-risking his life every day for our safety.  He works long, crazy hours, but always comes home with a smile and a kiss for his girls, ready to be daddy.   He is the most calm, level-headed person I know and is pretty much the only person who can calm my anxieties down.

My girls!  Natalie is my four, going on sixteen year old, and Kara is my 2.5 year old who enjoys still being the baby thankyouverymuch.  I thank my lucky stars that I am able to be with them all day every day.  I really wouldn't have it any other way.

Boy meets girl.  They go to prom (make that four). Fall in love, get married before she can even legally drink, buy a house, sell a house, buy another house, and have two beautiful baby girls.  Livin' the dream! *popping champagne bottle*
That remains to be seen!  Every day brings a new challenge and direction.  One thing is for sure, there will be many laughs and smiles along the way, because life is too short to be taken too seriously!

****

I'm actually at the end of the list, so after today there are no more bloggers scheduled in the crawl.  However,  Camila at High Heel Foot in the Door, and Lindsay at Home. Life. Style. Design. are also up today, so be sure to check them out!

  7. You crack me up - love this. And apparently we have some of the same shows on rotation on the old DVR (Modern Family, Cougar Town - I have a HUGE NSC - non sexual crush - on Courtney Cox. Hell, on ALL the women on that show).

    Merci!
