Personal Style, Defined: Special Maternity Issue

One of my dear sweet readers sent in a request to have Jill and me do a maternity version of our Personal Style, Defined series.  Of course we happily obliged, so today I will be featuring nurseries and Jill will be featuring maternity outfits in these styles: romantic, preppy, boho and modern.

This nursery evokes a romantic vibe with it's neutral color palette, chandelier, fluffy white crib bedding and floral wall decals. (I know I have posted this nursery once before-I really like it!)

Create a preppy space for your babe like this homeowner did by pairing stripes with polka dots in an all-american color scheme of red white and blue.  The mobile is made out of pinwheels-too cute! You can find similar mobiles here.

No one does boho for baby better than Rikshaw design. This is a photo from their website featuring a wonderful hand blocked paisley print crib bumper and blanket.  Make sure you mix in some antiques and personal artwork to complete the boho look.

This Walmart crib seems to be the hallmark in many a modern nursery.  The color palette of lime green, pink and brown ups the mod factor, along with the graphic print above the crib, simple shelving and fun floor lamp.  Throw in an Eames-style rocker and a modern mobile for even more oomph.

I hope you liked this look into different nursery styles!  Jill has put together some great maternity outfits, so make sure to go check them out.
