Personal Style, Defined: Casual

That's right, Jill and I just keep cranking out these Personal Style, Defined posts! If you are just tuning in, check out the introductory post here.  This week we are showcasing casual style, which I think is the style many of us can relate to the most.  Casual elements are truly what make a house feel like a home.

Big comfy sofas and chairs nestled near a fireplace just beg for you to come in and relax.

Another inviting sofa full of plump pillows paired with soothing neutral colors and lots of woodwork make for a comfy living space.

Here we have simple and serene comfort-no fusiness allowed!

I love the casual look of mismatched chairs around a dining table or like here at the bar.  Each has it's own quirky personality, much like the friends and family who are constantly gathered here.  Because no one makes you feel more at home like that of a casual gal.  Come on in, kick off your shoes, mi casa es su casa!

Classic neutrals
Comfy Sofas
Fluffy blankets and pillows
Pretty much anything from Pottery Barn will work!
Add some quirk through mismatched dining chairs.  Add some personality with a gallery wall full of family photos and artwork.  Invite some friends over for lemonade and you're good to go!
