Giveaway: Custom E-Decorating Guide from Maggie Rose!

I'm excited to offer you lucky readers a new giveaway opportunity today.  This comes from the lovely Maggie of Maggie Rose (formerly Magchunk) and she is offering one reader a free custom e-decorating consultation!  Have you been saving up to redecorate a room of your home, but just don't know where to begin? Then this is the giveaway for you!  Here are the details from the Maggie Rose site

 The Problem

You have a room that is drab, awkward, dark, or cluttered. You know you want this space to be inspiring. Calming. Or invigorating. But you just don’t know where to start, or how to bring your vision to life.

The Solution

After answering a short Q&A about your space and submitting “before” photos, I’ll do the tricky footwork and come back to you with a makeover board (sample above), as well as a shopping list that fits your budget. I’ll even explain how to arrange your new purchases and mix in the items you already own (Can’t bear to get rid of Granny’s old chair? No problem!). Furniture, art, accessories… your room will start coming together in no time.

How Much?

A custom e-decor guide will normally cost you $75 — but one lucky winner will get it for freeeeee!
That’s for a full shopping list and decor advice!

  1. Sometime this summer, I will be redecorating my bedroom. I have already bought the bedding, but am clueless on the color to paint the walls and what color my draperies should be. Also not sure how I should decorate the walls - whether to put anything up or not? Right now the whole room is a huge hodgepodge of stuff - and I need to get rid of the clutter. Thanks!

  8. I just posted about the bedroom makeover I'm having trouble with on my blog. We have a king size bed with brown leather headboard and footboard that has to stay. I desperately need help with the rest though! This would be great.

  9. I love Stacy's thinking - my whole apartment is about 800 sf! Does it count as 1 room?

OK, OK, if I HAVE to choose, definitely the bedroom! We have 3 wedding pics, 1 dresser, 1 nightstand, & a mattress on a comforter. It's so, so sad.

  18. Honestly I need help with every room! We just moved into a vintage mid-rise and everything about this place is beautiful but our furniture! The biggest challenge right now is the family/dining room. I have a couple pieces that are staying and have bought a couple of pieces but I'm not sure how to bring it all together or what accent color to use.

  19. I'm moving into a new apartment soon and trying to assemble a modicum of relatively cheap pieces of furniture, but ones that I like enough to keep around for awhile.

This is proving difficult, though, and Magchunk's help would be priceless! Thank you for offering this giveaway!

  22. Oh this is so cool! It would have to be my living room. It comprises over 1/4 of my house and it's just dead space. I do all my living upstairs in my bedroom, office spaces or downstairs in the kitchen/sitting room. The living room needs help!
