Supporting The Cause: cinda b's Sweetleaf Pink

As we all know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I'm sure many of us have been in some way affected by this disease, either personally or through someone they know. My Aunt-in-law is a breast cancer survivor, and was such a brave soul through it all- from the sickness and fatigue from chemo to losing her hair. She was also my boss at the time, and surprisingly never took days off from work no matter how awful she was feeling. She was determined to fight the disease and not let it take over her life. Thankfully, she is now cancer free and better than ever!

I received an email recently from cinda b (a company that makes travel bags, purses and accessories that I have raved about before here and here) that the company is partnering with the Young Survivor Coalition. For the month of October, 15% of all sales of the Sweetleaf Pink pattern will be donated to YSC, which is a program dedicated "to increase the quality and quantity of life for women diagnosed with breast cancer ages 40 and under" through research and advocacy. While you may think breast cancer isn't something to worry about in your young adult life, the scary fact is that it can and does happen. It's worth checking out the YSC website and watching the short video on the front page, which interviews several young women who fought the disease.

Of course I just had to spread the word on this wonderful partnership. Below are only a few of the 39 options of cinda b bags and accessories that can be purchased in the Sweetleaf Pink pattern:

After using my old crappy luggage on our Seattle trip, I am very much longing for that Vacationer Travel bag! Not only are they stylish and will stand out amongst a sea of black suitcases, but they are also machine washable, durable, stain resistant, lightweight and made right here in the USA! Oh, and did I mention our favorite Bachelorette Jillian used a variety of cinda b products on the show?

If that weren't enough, to sweeten the deal even more, cinda b is offering Sweetie Pie Pumpkin Noodle readers free shipping on all orders through October 31st! Just use coupon code cbSweetiePie4YSC. So go check out the amazing line up of offerings and consider a purchase in the Sweetleaf Pink pattern. Remember, 15% of all purchases in this pattern through the month of October will be donated to the YSC. Happy Shopping!
