  3. Thanks for the song! That's one of my all time favorite "get on your feet and dance" songs...and after a spin around the kitchen with the baby, I feel that today is going to be a pretty good day.

  7. I love September too. What do I love:

Football games and hot chocolate. Soccer matches too. My favorite jeans and hoodies. Fall TV - I love Joel McHale too. My fireplace and curling up on the couch with a good book or movie. Planting some mums in my flower pots.

  8. Ditto on the bouquets of freshly sharpened pencils....as a teacher, I truly appreciate the beauty of a sharp pencil (and You've Got Mail).
High school and college football season, fall colors, cooler days. I don't actually care for pumpkin spice, but I like the switch from iced coffee back to hot coffee. And I can't wait for Glee this fall!

  9. This post just made me so excited for fall. I, too, have been counting down the days to when I can enjoy pumpkin spice lattes again. I'm thinking of sneaking to Starbucks to see if they have them yet!

  11. Fall is my absolute favorite season! I love the return of boots and sweaters, the smell of leaves, rainy days when I don't have to leave the house (it's a pain to drive in), the switch to hot chai lattes from iced, the thick magazines! And this year I want some rain boots and cute shoe bags to carry my other shoes to work!

  12. Your #2 is bringing a little tear to my eye...our Starbucks closed and I'm in a bit of a withdrawl over here!

I, too, am looking forward to the return of good television...

    Cute blog!

  13. You should have seen me sitting in my chair at my computer and dancing to Earth, Wind, and Fire. Ha! It was quite amusing. My dogs were appalled. Love that group and that song. Thanks for sharing. It really takes me back.

My favorite part of fall is also back to school (I'm a teacher), the cooler jacket weather, and, of course, the new TV season. I can't wait for "Glee" either, as well as many of my older faves.
