I'm An Indian Outlaw

Call me crazy, but Mama wants a pair of moccasins!

I've never considered my style to be boho, but I think a pair could integrate into my wardrobe nicely.

I like the look of the two gals above, not too literal with the mocs, but a similar feel.

What do you guys feel about them? Should I "Indian Outlaw" it up this Fall?

  1. I saw a blog post a while back that showed a photo of mocs on the cover of the Sundance catalog and I've wanted some ever since. Go for it!

  2. I am anti moccasins since my mom liked to wear them in the 80s - I remain traumatized.

  3. I like the look! Old Navy has a pair of suede boots with fringe... could be an inexpensive way to test out the look!

  4. I grew up in Minnesota-where Minnetonka Moccasins are made. They are the best and super inexpensive! I have a red pair-complete with beading and fringe. SO cute for fall.

  8. Loving the red pair! An unexpected color on mocs, which makes them work for me. :)

  9. Moccasins are the best...so comfy. I wore them as a kid, then got another pair about 4 years ago before the bohemian chic look came into style....people laughed at me then, but I'll wear them no matter what! Go for it! And mine are blue - go for a bold color.

  11. I grew up wearing ones like the brown ones in the middle. I am so happy they are "back".

  12. I vote yes for them on behalf of comfort-seeking feet everywhere.

But this is coming from a woman who wears Birkenstocks around the house all day, every day. So my feet are a little spoiled.

  13. i like the purple and the red pair. i don't like moccasins that are taken too literally, if that makes sense. the color makes them more modern i think:)

  14. I've beent thinking of getting some for work (we have a pretty casual office... I think they'd be happy to see me in something other than flip flops right now!). I'm not as crazy about the boots but love the flats. Love them in pastels.
