Thank you for all your wonderful suggestions for my entry dilemma the other day. I have decided to go with the first bench, I just like the way it looks so much better. I'm taking Maggie's advice to go for form over function-I mean, you only live once right? Ha! I also decided to leave the padding white and add a few colorful pillows, that way I can change them out as a please (which, knowing me, will be quite often). I also have a big mirror that I am going to spray paint a glossy black to hang over the bench.

Great choice! I love the idea of leaving the cushion white and accenting with different pillows. I may have to do something similar, because I have a commitment problem with pillows. Oh, and I LOVE all these pillows...good luck narrowing it down!
