Wish I Were Here...

I'm having a major " I need to get away from it all" movement, if you will. The past few weeks have been rather overwhelming. Nothing worth getting into, but let's just say I would love to run away and hang out here for awhile, all by myself...

A colorful little getaway in the woods. No phones, no TV, no computer. Just a few good books to help pass the time. Give me two days...is that too much to ask?

Images via. (Anyone have any idea what the text says? I made out France, vacation and nature, which is all I really need to know!)

You're right, a getaway like this would be quite nice! That first photo is so fun and lively, how fun to curl up in there with a fun summer read...

I've totally been feeling that way too, only I'm pretty much ready to pack up my things and move to a secluded island for like a month.

also, have you ever seen the movie stardust? the styling is pretty awesome and one of the witches lives in a shed/cart that looks exactly like that. if you've haven't seen it, you should!

Oh, hang in there. I totally know the feeling. And two days is not too much to ask and would more than remedy things!

Girl. Take a few days. Can you ? If your life is like mine-never! It would all fall apart without me. Yikes. But maybe you can get a sitter and go get an hour hotvrock massage?!! That helps me. I just started exercising again too- that helps with the stress too. Xo

I'm with you on that one! Hope everything starts looking up soon. If not, just run as fast as you can to this beautiful little place.

Oh my gosh! I've had a picture of this boxcar in my files for weeks, figuring out what to do with it. I was also thinking that it reminded me of my favorite childhood book The Boxcar Children. Thanks so much for sharing!

FYI, the images are originally form Marie Claire Maison, I do believe...

Fantastic! And I mean that in the sense that is seems so capable of spurring one's fantasies.

BTW I really like your blog. Interested in exchanging links?

This also reminded me of an exotic version of The Boxcar Children. Personally I can see me and lover Johnny Depp having a pleasant getaway. This seems like his scene. Gypsy-chic, if you will.

I've been stressed too. I hope that with the summer sun comes some much needed relaxation.
