This rug reminds me of a Rorschach test. What do you see? A bird? A leaf? A mustache?

Must have that yellow wallpaper! Although, I'm sure if I saw a tiny swatch, like they have in those books, I would have thought it too busy, but I love it.

I think my favorite part are those textiles hanging above the sofa in the first picture. I'm a little on the fence about yellow in practical use (I love it in these pictures but can't fathom using it in my home). But those hangings? Definitely.

What a fabulous post! I never, ever thought I'd be into yellow (although I do try - I keep painting walls in yellow and then painting them back) but this has me thinking again...Yellow, aubergine, pink and gray = stunning! Thanks.

When I was a kid, my grandma's guest bedroom was (and still is) all done up in yellow gingham. Yellow interiors will forever remind me of summer vacation, popsicles, cousins, capture the flag, etc. I'm a huge fan.
First picture.Circular print. I saw that exact print in a rug shop a block away from my office. Couldn't afford the rug but wow! I actually love it framed.
never thought about purple and yellow decor together. love it!
