Blog Music Party Week: Karaoke Madness

Well my friends, we've made it to the end of our Blog Music Party Week, and we're going out with a bang! A loud, probably off-key, singing the wrong words kinda bang. As in karaoke. Now, I'm not really sure if my picks would make good karaoke songs because to be honest, I can't remember the last time I got up in front of a crowd of strangers to sing. For the most part I prefer to just watch and enjoy. But, if I were feeling bold and brave (read: one too many drinks) I would probably try out one of these:

Madonna, "Like A Prayer
"

I think any Madonna song is a good choice. Mainly because I know the words to most of her songs and they really aren't that difficult to sing.

Journey, "Don't Stop Believin"

If Cleveland can do it, so can I.

Dixie Chicks, "Sin Wagon"

Because I rocked this song at least ten times during my Rockband marathon a few weekends ago. Of course, I don't think it would be as fun without my brother on the drums and my hubby on the guitar.

Reba McEntire, "The Night The Lights Went Out In Georgia"

I have no idea why this song popped into my head. But you know, it kinda feels right.

I can't begin to tell you how much fun I had this week at the Blog Music Party checking out everyone's daily picks. You can be sure there will be a part II sometime in the future!

Thank you so much to my two wonderful co-hosts, Maggie and Melanie, and to to everyone else who participated this week:
