Gift Guide: Kiss the Cook

I think we all know a foodie or two who would appreciate these fun items, and they all cost under $45!

This has to be one of the coolest inventions ever. A Nonstick Edge Brownie Pan, that ensures each slice of brownie has two chewy edges. Does anyone ever really like the soggy center? Around my house we always fight over who gets the corner pieces, so this is the answer to our chewy-edge-lovin' prayers. Cost $34.95

While you're at it, throw in a Brownies and Bars cookbook. Cost: $10.85

Why not indulge your favorite chef with a fancy-schmancy soap and lotion set from Williams Sonoma? The above are from their Pure & Green line, which are free from harsh chemicals and are rich in essential oils derived from various plants. Every time they wash their hands they will think of you! (Which, if they are sanitary, should be quite frequently.) Cost: $39.95

Add a splash of color to their kitchen with these wood pepper mills from Anthropologie. Almost everything tastes better with freshly ground pepper! Ranging in price from $16-$34

These handmade napkin rings would make a nice addition to the dinner table. They come imprinted with simple words such as "Savor" and "Chow" to remind you what you are doing there in the first place. Set of six for $42 from Rain Collection. Or you can personalize a set of four for $44 in Rae Dunn's etsy shop.

Another lovely addition to the dinner table would be these Simrin Frame placemats from Velocity. Made from linen, with frame color choices of black, cream or gray, these will elegantly highlight the masterpiece you are about to devour.

Lastly, you can create a custom TasteBook full of treasured family recipes, tried and true favorites or new interesting recipes to try. A hardcover book with ten tabbed chapters starts at $19.95. The website has very easy to follow directions, and you can do fun things like choose the cover art, or even upload personal photos to use.

  1. Great round up of lovelies! I spend 99 percent of my time in the kitchen and any one of these would make me happy. Especially that cookies and bars book---that would be perfect for trying out new recipes to blog about!

Though I have to say I'm partial to the middle brownie ;)

  3. Oh, I love those pepper mills!
I'm a middle of the pan brownie person, so those edge pans have never made sense to me.
