IKEA Jennylund Chair Slipcovers

Before:
After:

I have been looking a lovely, comfy chair for the nursery that isn't going to break the bank. I don't want to spend $1000 on a designer chair that can be used in the family room someday (because knowing me I will be sick of it after a year anyway) and I certainly don't want to spend $500 on a rocker that screams "made for nursery!".

My perfect happy medium? The Jennylund chair from IKEA. At only $199 it is obviously a great bargain, and has a clean simple line to it that will remain timeless. And, if I get sick of it, I won't feel guilty giving it the old heave-ho.

To spice it up a bit, I ran across the website Bemz.com which carries slipcovers for the exact measurements of the chair (as well as other chairs and sofas IKEA sells). The prices are all around the $100 mark, which again appeals to the bargain hunter in me. So for only around $300, you have a semi-custom chair that looks high-end with half the price!

I am not quite sure which pattern I want to use yet, because I am still on the fence as to how to design the nursery, but I will update you when I decide.
